Im Rahmen des BLACKherSTORYmonth:Lesung aus dem Buch "Daheim unterwegs. Ein deutsches Leben" von Ika Hügel-Marshall (1947 - 2022). Sie war Autorin, Aktivistin, Pädagogin, Dozentin, Künstlerin und in der afrodeutschen Frauenbewegung bei ADEFRA e. V. – Schwarze Frauen in Deutschland und der ISD - Initiative Schwarzer Deutscher aktiv gewesen.
Bei der Lesung präsent sein und Fragen beantworten wird ihre Partnerin Dagmar Schultz.
Die Ausstellung der Bilder von Ika Hügel-Marshall ist den ganzen Monat Februar zu sehen sein. Ebenfalls den ganzen Monat sind alle Bücher im Fenster der Buchhandlung von Schwarzen Autorinnen.
As part of the BLACKherSTORYmonth:
Book presentation and reading from "Invisible woman. Growing up black in Germany" by Ika Hügel-Marshall (1947 - 2022). Ika was an author, activist, teacher, artist and active in the afrogerman women's movement ADEFRA and ISD. At the reading her partner Dagmar Schultz will be present and answer questions.
The exhibition of drawings by Ika Hügel-Marshall will be accessible the whole month of february. Also the whole month the window of the bookshop will show exclusively books by black female authors.
