Join us on this 2.5 hour round walk with starting point at the entrance of “De Ijzeren Man” Javalaan 149, 5631 DB Eindhoven. We start at 14:00 and return to the starting point around 16:30.
This walk has a café at the halfway point.
The region around Eindhoven is famous for its many watermills on the river Dommel. Most of these watermills are now turned into restaurants or specialty shops. Some are kept running by volunteers. The watermill where mostly used for grinding grain and to lesser extent for pressing oil from flax seed. This walk will visit two watermills, both painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1884.
