I J A H M A N L E V I (JAM) “Jah Heavy Load”
Known for his deep and spiritual voice, as well as his compositions imbued with faith and humanity, he has established himself as one of the standard bearers of conscious roots reggae music. I Jahman Levi's international success began in 1978 with the album "Haile I Hymn", which contained the timeless classic "Jah Heavy Load". This title, as well as others like “I’m a Levi” and “Are We a Warrior”, illustrates his ability to combine messages of faith, personal introspection and denunciation of social injustices.
Throughout his career, he released many acclaimed albums, such as "Africa" (1982), "Tell It to the Children" (1982) and "On Track" (1983). His music is distinguished by rich arrangements, often tinged with soul and jazz, but always rooted in roots reggae. An authentic artist faithful to his convictions, I Jahman Levi has survived the decades without ever compromising his artistic integrity. Today he is a respected figure and a source of inspiration for reggae fans and the generations of artists who follow his example.

C U L T U R E Ft. K E N Y A T T A H I L L (JAM) “Two Sevens Clash”
The group Culture is a living legend of roots reggae music, famous for its spiritual and social messages. Founded in 1976 in Jamaica by Joseph Hill, accompanied by Albert Walker and Kenneth Dayes, Culture quickly established itself on the reggae scene thanks to its captivating vocal harmonies and committed lyrics. The group is best known for their debut album, “Two Sevens Clash” (1977), considered a masterpiece and a cornerstone of roots reggae. This prophetic album, inspired by Rastafarian teachings and social tensions in Jamaica, had an immense international impact and remains a timeless classic.
After Joseph Hill's tragic death in 2006, his son, Kenyatta Hill, took over. Kenyatta quickly stepped into the role of lead singer, honoring his father's legacy while bringing his own energy and powerful voice. His transition allowed Culture to continue to share its message of peace, justice and spirituality, while renewing its popularity with new generations.
With Culture feat. Kenyatta Hill, the group keeps the essence of roots reggae alive. Kenyatta and his bandmates continue to revisit Culture classics like “International Herb,” “Jah Rastafari,” and of course, “Two Sevens Clash,” while producing new songs in the group’s militant and spiritual tradition. Always faithful to the values of reggae music and the Rastafarian movement, Culture feat. Kenyatta Hill remains an essential force on the international scene. Their stage presence is a mix of paying homage to the legacy of Joseph Hill and celebrating the resilience and evolution of reggae music.
