𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞:
Hike Name: Modified Belgatos Park loop, Los Gatos.
Stats: 4.03 mi, 1070’ elevation gain, a moderate effort hike that takes 2 ~2.5 hrs, passing through beautiful Heintz Open Space and Santa Rosa Open Space with multiple scenic vista points. Over half of the trail is shaded and made of gravel and asphalt. The hikers will pass through beautiful plains, breathtaking valleys, some moderate slopes, and a few hundred meters of street.
At the beginning of the trail, there is a lovely shaded playground with picnic tables, a small library, and restrooms. Visitors will find ample parking on the street and around ten parking spots at the trailhead.

We will meet at Belgatos Park and start there. It has ample parking, but it gets filled early. There is enough street parking just outside the park, serving the three different roads leading in. The park has picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms to serve visitors.

If you are walking ahead of the group, wait at any intersection point till the rest of the group catches up.

The Los Alamitos Creek Trail, a modified hike, starts at Belgatos Park and passes through both Heintz and Santa Rosa Open Spaces. It covers different segments of the Santa Rosa Trail, Valley View Trail, Vista Trail, and Ridge trail.

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤:
Belgatos Park is a public park located in Los Gatos. It features walking trails, picnic areas, and open green spaces, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities. The park is known for its natural beauty and offers scenic views, particularly of the surrounding hills. It's a great place for hiking, jogging, and enjoying nature, and has all the amenities that you would expect from a city park, BBQ pits, restrooms, playground, picnic table,s etc.
