Info: Judge of the Special Family and Succession Chamber of the Rio Grande do Sul Court of Justice. She joined the judiciary in 1994. She was the first judge of the State Court for Domestic and Family Violence against Women and worked on the creation of the TJRS Administrative Impropriety Court project. Info: She was president of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, being the first woman and the first black person to preside over the court.She was born in Pelotas, a city located in the south of Rio Grande do Sul. She graduated in Law from the Law School of the Federal University of Pelotas in 1981. She began her career in the Rio Grande do Sul judiciary in March 1985 as a magistrate. In the District of Porto Alegre, she served as a judge from 1994 to 1998 and was an electoral judge from 2000 to 2002. She was the first woman to join the deliberative council of the Association of Judges of Rio Grande do Sul (Ajuris). On March 22, 2004, she was promoted to the position of appellate judge. In 2016, she became the first woman to be elected chief justice of Rio Grande do Sul. In December 2021, she was elected president of the Court of Justice with 71 votes, defeating Judge Tasso Caubi Soares Dalabary, who obtained 63 votes.
