Join us on the final day of the National Indian Health Board’s 2025 National Tribal Health Conference for the in-person IHEART AI/AN Healthcare Workforce Development Summit. Presented by the Indigenous Health, Education, and Resources Taskforce (IHEART), this event brings together educators, health professionals, community leaders, and learners to discuss workforce gaps and drive Indigenous-led solutions for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.
At this interactive summit you will: • Review the current state of AI/AN healthcare workforce challenges and disparities • Engage in conversations on policy, education, and recruitment strategies • Collaborate with peers to brainstorm actionable pathways and systems change opportunities • Share your work through our poster session (faculty or student poster proposals welcome; posters already submitted to NIHB may be displayed here as well)
Registration is free. Attendance at the main NIHB conference is not required if you only wish to attend the IHEART Summit; please register separately for the summit.
