We warmly invite you to join us for one of the most cherished traditions of the International German School HCMC – the annual Lantern Parade (Laternenfest).Date: Tuesday, November 11th at 17:30

This special evening is inspired by the story of Saint Martin, a Roman soldier turned monk known for his compassion and selflessness. His symbolic act of sharing his cloak with a beggar on a cold night continues to inspire acts of kindness across generations. At IGS, we celebrate this spirit through the gentle glow of handmade lanterns, shared songs, and a strong sense of community.
Throughout the weeks leading up to the event, our students have poured their creativity into crafting their own lanterns in class. Now, we invite you to witness this magical moment as we light them up and parade together through the school grounds and neighboring areas– a joyful expression of togetherness, warmth, and generosity.
