The Sanskrit word Chakra refers to vortexes of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras that align along the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Chakras are not seen by the human eye but can be understood, felt, and sensed with intuition. These swirling wheels of energy correspond to our psychological, emotional, mental and spiritual states of being. Since everything is moving, it is essential that our seven main chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. During this class we will cover specific Chakra basics, have a physical practice to flow energy to that specific Chakra and examine different techniques you can use with each chakra.
