I know what it’s like to hide my deepest self, to people-please, and to bend under the weight of others’ expectations for fear of judgment, rejection, and not belonging. Over time, I began to doubt my own abilities and second-guess what I knew to be true. I piled on so many layers that I became almost unrecognizable, until I could no longer ignore the quiet voice calling me back home to myself.

Through my personal and professional journey, I’ve discovered that leadership takes many forms, whether it’s leading a business, a team, a family, a community, or even oneself. Yet along the way, we may feel a relentless pressure to hide parts of ourselves in order to fit in.
