Join us for a Strategic Landscaping presentation focused on practical, research-based approaches to landscape planning, water use, and plant selection that support long-term facility performance.
This session will be led by Ben Herzog, an Extension Master Gardener supporting the Sedgwick County Extension Horticulture Program.
Ben worked with fellow Master Gardeners to develop the “Wallet $mart, Water $mart” program for Sedgwick County, which promotes cost-effective and water-conscious landscaping practices. He brings a unique perspective that blends technical expertise with real-world application, drawing from a 40-year career with INVISTA (a subsidiary of Koch Industries).
Ben holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is passionate about translating research into actionable guidance for property owners and facility professionals.
