IFMA Pittsburgh David L Lawrence Convention Center Tour

Please join IFMA Pittsburgh for a tour of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 6pm. Following the tour, we invite attendees to join us for networking with appetizers and drinks.
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center is a prominent event space located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Renowned for its modern architecture and sustainable design, it is the first convention center in the world to achieve LEED certification.
The facility boasts a spacious exhibit hall, multiple meeting rooms, and a grand ballroom equipped with cutting-edge technology. It is a prime location along the Allegheny River and offers scenic views, enhancing the experience for attendees. The center is versatile and designed to host a wide range of events, including conventions, trade shows, and corporate meetings.
On this tour, guided by the Assistant General Manager Ryan Buries, participants learn about the history, architecture, engineering, and operational practices that fulfill the DLCC's sustainability mission. The tour will focus on HVAC, energy, water, and waste diversion in the LEED-certified Convention Center.
