Get fired up about math and physics as we see it come to life in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel. The highly trained STEM educators guide students through an immersive, hands-on experience that consists of:
An interactive presentation on real-world STEM applications.
Physics demonstrations in the wind tunnel.
Lab activity and immersive experiments (based on grade level).
Measure and record data and interpret results.
One-on-one flying with a certified world-class iFLY flight instructor.
Please note this adventure is estimated at 3 hours, in addition to the flying experience, there is a classroom learning and lab components as well as hands on demonstrations.
The cost of this event is either $55 or $45 depending on the number of RSVPs we get. If we have a group of 25 or fewer (flying participants) then the cost is $55 and each flyer will fly TWICE, if our group is larger than 25 (flying participants) the cost will be $45 and each flyer will fly once. Payment is for FLYING PARTICIPANTS ONLY (students and adults are allowed to fly, if an adult choses NOT to fly, there is no cost for them, only the students participating pays).
