The conference will take place in Riga from September 2–4, 2026, followed by the IFLA Europe General Assembly on September 5–6.
The central theme of the conference focuses on the major transformations currently affecting landscapes across Europe and around the world. Climate change, biodiversity loss, and economic, social, and political developments are significantly reshaping both the physical environment and society’s relationship with it.
