IES Summer Knights

Welcome UCF Knights! We are thrilled that you will be a UCF Knight and starting your journey at the 2024 IES Summer Knights Camp Experience! Summer Knights will be held on the UCF Main Campus from Thursday, June 13th through Saturday, June 15th, 2024.

This camp provides new IES students with an opportunity to become familiar with campus, dorm life, IES staff, and other students. Students will learn how to operate the laundry facilities and take advantage of early assessments/evaluations before Self-Advocacy services begin in the fall.

Meals and purchases: Throughout the three-day camp, students will be provided with the following meals: June 13th-Lunch and dinner, June 14th-Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, June 15th Breakfast and lunch. Students are also encouraged to bring extra spending money for additional food, snacks, refreshments, or UCF swag from the bookstore.

Staying in the dorm: A linen package including sheets, one pillow, pillowcase, blanket, bath towels, washcloths, and bathmat will be provided. Two IES staff will be on-site as chaperones to help during the camp experience.

Drop off and pick up: Summer Knight campers should be dropped off on June 13th at 10:30 am, outside the Inclusive Education Services Ferrrell Commons, Building 7B, and picked up at the same location by 5:00pm on June 15th.
