Join us for an evening of celebration, inspiration, and connection as we honor the brightest minds in industrial design. The Gala will feature a light reception, award ceremony, and plenty of time to socialize with fellow designers, industry leaders, and friends.

The IDSA NYC Bronze Apple Award, established in 1976, is a distinguished honor bestowed by the Industrial Designers Society of America's New York City chapter. This prestigious accolade celebrates Industrial Design visionaries who harness the power of design to advocate, educate, inspire, and drive positive change in the lives of diverse communities in New York and beyond. Each year, leading designers with a history of working and living in NYC are invited by the New York design community to share their perspectives on how to make design's impact more inclusive and sustainable. These submissions are reviewed by a jury of their peers, with one or more selected for the honor based on their distinctive personal and professional achievements as well as their vision for the power of design.

: A visionary leader in design for societal change, former director of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

: An influential thinker in design, author, former assistant managing editor at BusinessWeek, and Bronze Apple Award '93 winner.

: Renowned gerontologist and designer, a pioneer in Universal Design, and the recipient of the 2022 World Design Medal.

: Co-lead of global design practice at Dalberg Design, a regular contributor to Fast Company, and former VP of Creative at frog.

: Award-winning designer, educator, author, and former head of design at HP.

: Global luxury CMF + form specialist, design leader in the home and hospitality industries, and serving member of IDSA's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council.
