Every two years, following the May primary election, newly-elected precinct committeemen come together as county and legislative district committees to elect new leadership and select delegates for the upcoming Idaho GOP State Convention. Idaho law and party rules require that reorganization meetings must take place within ten days of the primary election and have at least seven days notice. Additionally, state law says that precinct committeemen hold their office for eight days following the primary election, which means the window for holding reorganization meetings this year is between May 28-29 for counties and May 28-30 for legislative districts.Thursday, May 29, 2026
