Come join us for an evening of intentional release, reflection, and soft unraveling at The Space in Providence, RI.
This month’s Identity Death Café centers on The Emergence
March 18th at 6pm
Bring a relic or object of significance if you have one

After the stillness, something starts to stir. Not clarity. Not answers. Definitely not a dramatic phoenix moment. Just the quiet realization that the old shape doesn’t fit anymore… and something unnamed is forming underneath it.

In Jungian terms, the unconscious spoke. The ego loosened its grip. And now a strange little energy is beginning to gather.It might feel like:
• a new desire you didn’t plan for
• a random curiosity
• an impulse that doesn’t match your “old self”
• or simply the absence of who you used to beNothing is fully formed yet.

But something is different.So we’ll gather. We’ll notice what’s stirring. We’ll sit with what feels unfamiliar, possible, or quietly alive again.

There will be tea and snacks galore. There will be fire. And if you have a relic, an object from a past version of yourself, bring it along.

The doors are always open.

This event is especially welcoming to neurodivergent, queer, trans, and BIPOC community members, and to anyone in the midst of transition, shedding, or personal evolution. You’re invited to come exactly as you are: speak, listen, write, or simply exist quietly in the room. There is no expectation to share.

• A softly lit, sensory-considerate space with drinks, tea, light snacks, and flexible seating (chairs, cushions, corners for solitude).
• A short grounding practice to open our time together.
• Optional opportunities for symbolic release — writing, tearing, burning bowls, art, or silent intention-setting.
• Gentle structure and predictable pacing designed with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind.
• Spaciousness to move, stim, rest, or step out as needed.
• No cost to attend. This is a free community offering.

The Space is located on the 2nd floor at 171 Chestnut St, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02903.
Unfortunately, the building does not currently have an elevator.
