Identifying Wildflowers at the Cathedral Hills

Celebrate the first day of May exploring spring wildflowers in Cathedral Hills. The group will walk the 0.8-mile Madrone Trail, which is of moderate difficulty. Copies of the Wildflowers of Cathedral Hills Wildflowers brochures will be available. Please meet at 1pm at the Sky Crest parking lot, which is the north entrance to Cathedral Hills. Directions to Sky Crest Trailhead: From Highway 199, take Highway 238 south 0.2 mile. Left on Harbeck Road for 0.3 mile. Left on Grandview Avenue for 0.3 mile. Right on Sky Way; 0.7 mile to trailhead. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. Be aware there is abundant poison-oak and ticks.
