After the release of their debut EP at the beginning of 2025, which gained recognition from local and national press and received airplay on BBC Radio 6 with Huw Stephens and Deb Grant, Ideal Living have continued to attract audiences for their captivating and charismatic live performance. The dynamics of raging highs and subtle lows used within the songs are used to demonstrate the imbalance of modern life.
The five piece art rock outfit draw influence from Leonard Cohen, Tapir!, LCD Soundsystem, Tyler the Creator and The Birthday Party. They continue to work on the progress and adaption their sound, adding elements of drum sequences, guitars, synthesisers, flutes and saxophones.
