You're invited to our next ICONIC wine tasting of Port Wines, featuring the ICONIC Port: S. Leonardo, a 20 Year White Port!
About three years ago, our VB management team had a white port tasting, tasting ports going back to 90-years-old at $3,500 a bottle! What a tasting! We tasted a series of Tawny Ports, that were amazing, but the white ports stole the show. These older white ports are very rare and hard to find, that's what makes them ICONIC. They are very special, in that that they have acid, sweetness and amazing aromatics that are so captivating…. Sweet dried prunes, honeycomb with appealing youthful citrus, and an appealing freshness that is very unique to aged white ports.
These wines are unforgettable! With a series of 10 years going through 90-years-old, of which we have the last bottle in Virginia of the 90 year old!
We will have the 20 year old St. Leonardo White Port open to taste for free, along with some amazing other ports to taste. Don't miss this event!
