Post a successful showing with world record sales of canvas paintings by three artists—Shanti Dave, Rajendra Dhawan and J. Sultan Ali—at Art Mumbai 2024, the fourth edition of DAG`s annual series, Iconic Masterpieces of Indian Modern Art, travels to New Delhi. This edition takes forward the legacy in introducing works of the rarest historicity and quality created from the nineteenth century onwards. Featuring forty works and bookended between Western artist Henry Singleton to the most recent being work by artist Rameshwar Broota, two hundred years separate the earliest painting from the most recent, reflecting an artistic curiosity and imagination that formed the impulse and marked their creation.
