This summer, the Innovation Centre Knowledge Gateway (ICKG) is teaming up with the gorgeous Wivenhoe House Hotel to bring you the first-ever ICKG Summer Expo! We are also absolutely delighted to have our friends at Connected Innovation supporting the event to help make it an unforgettable afternoon.

We’re bringing together the brightest innovative companies, local professionals, and families from across Colchester and the wider region for an incredible afternoon of networking, socialising, and community fun.

Best of all? 100% of the proceeds from the day go directly to The Robin Cancer Trust to support their life-saving awareness work.

What’s Happening on the Day?

• The Innovation Showcase: Wander through our exhibition space and see exactly what ICKG’s brilliant customers can do. It's the perfect opportunity to discover cutting-edge local products, make new contacts, and chat with the region's top innovators.
• The Summer BBQ & Fully Stocked Bar: Wivenhoe House will be firing up the grill with delicious BBQ food available to purchase, and the bar will be open all afternoon for a refreshing summer drink.
• Family-Friendly Fun: Bring the kids along! We'll have classic garden games and more to keep the little ones entertained while you chat.
• The Charity 5-a-Side Football Tournament: Want to test your team's skills? Enter a squad into our competitive 5-a-side tournament! It’s happening right next to the main event area, so everyone can watch, cheer, and network between matches.

Ticket & Entry Information

We want to get as many people through the gates as possible to drive up funds for charity, so entry is incredibly accessible:

• General Admission: £5 per person - All donoted to Robin Cancer Trust (Children aged 10 and under get in completely FREE!)
• Want to give a bit more? If you'd like to support the charity further, you are more than welcome to donate extra on the day.
• 5-a-Side Football Team Entry: £50 per team. (Spaces are limited, so get your team registered early! Contact the centre team - [email protected])
