ICISF CISM Training in Ukiah - January 27th - 29th, 2025

3-day ICISF training for Peer Support/CISM Team members

Intended for emergency services personnel, chaplains and mental health providers becoming new team members, as well as refresher training for existing team members.

Participants learn to:

• Recognize psychological and behavioral crisis reactions
• Understand the Resistence, Resilience & Recovery Model
• Talk to peers in crisis
• Provide group interventions including: RITS, CMB, Defusings and Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD)
• Utilize culturally competent resources and referrals

Students receive 27 contact hours of certified training in Assisting Individuals in Crisis and Group Crisis Intervention from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
