Colin has been photographing landscapes for over 60 years and
has never wavered in his enthusiasm and passion for this diverse subject. One of his favourite locations is Iceland, a country he has returned to repeatedly. The raw and dramatic volcanic scenery offers endless and exciting opportunities for photography.
In winter, the unique Icelandic landscape is transformed into something truly magical, with a blanket of snow and ice covering everything, including frozen rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. The special quality of light during this season adds another dimension to the scenery, and the longer nights increase the chances of experiencing the Northern Lights.
