You don't want to miss the Highlands Ranch Metro District's annual Ice Cream Social event, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 at Civic Green Park.
Hear live music from the Highlands Ranch Concert Band and see some cool vehicles and demos from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and South Metro Fire Rescue.
Enjoy a delicious dinner from your choice of three food trucks - Big Belly Brothers BBQ, Chibby Wibbitz and Pizza House of Colorado.
Did we mention all-you-can-eat ice cream treats for just $2? After all, it is an ice cream social!
Ice cream treats and snow cones are courtesy of Walmart and Highlands Ranch Orthodontics. Proceeds from the event will go to Shop with a Cop, a program of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office that provides holiday gifts for Douglas County kids in need.
