Beginning in January 2026, the City Community Development division launched a pilot program to match residents in need with local organizations who can help.Called the “ICARE CommUnity Hub,” the first event took place at the Sears Recreation Center in McPherson Park. Events continue every other Thursday of each month.
The Hub aims to provide an inclusive location where local non-profits, faith-based groups and community organizations can work together to improve economic stability, access to services and quality of life.
The Hub will include:
- A centralized client intake system
- Wraparound services (housing, employment, mental health, etc.)
- Data sharing and coordinated care
- Community resource navigation
