Insurance Cultural Awareness Network (iCAN), NAAIA New York Tri-State and Gallagher are proud to co-host A Century of Impact: Black Leadership, Legacy & the Future of Insurance, in celebration of Black History Month 2026 and a century of Black excellence.

About the Session

This in-person panel event will bring together influential Black leaders from across insurance and reinsurance to reflect on the past, examine the present, and shape the future of the industry.

Through personal stories, industry insight and honest discussion, the panel will explore:

• The legacy and evolution of Black professionals in insurance and reinsurance
• Challenges and opportunities that have shaped the industry over the past century
• The cultural, community and professional impact of Black leadership
• What the next 100 years could look like for Black talent and inclusive growth

The evening will conclude with a networking reception, spotlighting Black-owned and diverse local vendors, followed by a charity raffle raising funds for organisations supporting Black communities and future talent pathways.

This event is designed to honour legacy, empower today’s leaders, and inspire the next generation shaping the future of insurance.
