IBEW Downtown Holiday Lighted Parade 2026
The parade will travel along 4th Street, beginning at Iowa Street and ending at Nebraska Street. After the parade, gather in front of the Sioux City Public Museum to watch the lighting of the downtown holiday tree - a moment that officially kicks off the holiday season in Sioux City.
Accessible & Sensory Friendly Area
In partnership with The Oak View Group and Siouxland District Health Department, a designated Accessible Viewing Area will be available outside the Sioux City Convention Center with a Sensory Friendly space located inside during the 2026 IBEW Holiday Lighted Parade. These spaces are designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for individuals with sensory sensitivities, free and open to the public.
Meet Santa!
After Santa lights the tree, Santa will stop at Art SUX Gallery to greet everyone before he heads back to the North Pole.
Drop off your Letters to Santa
The big red mailbox is located right outside the Sioux City Public Museum, near the tree! Letters can also be dropped off at Sioux City City Hall, Aalfs Downtown Library, Sioux City Art Center and Art SUX Gallery. Letter writing events TBA.
