IBEW 569 is strengthening our partnership with the American Lung Association to fight lung cancer, lung disease and to advance clean air for all with investments in clean transit. IBEW 569 is also concerned about our members and families in the Imperial Valley where cases of lung disease and asthma are increasing due to the drying-up of the Salton Sea. We are hopeful that we can work together to invest in Salton Sea solutions, including geothermal energy.

The LUNG FORCE Walk provides critical funds for lifesaving research, early detection initiatives, and awareness outreach to vulnerable communities.
