Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 10.45am at Holy Trinity Church: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music, introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café open from 10am where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.May-June’s programme is a vibrant collection of music from the Iberian peninsula, including trios by Catalan composers Enrique Granados and Joaquin Malats, an arrangement of the song ‘Madrid’ by singer-composer Pauline Viardot, and music by da Falla,Turina and others.
There’s no need to book, though an RSVP via our website www.trioparadis.com is appreciated.
