Spend an evening with fellow trail enthusiasts on Thursday, September 17 at 7PM for the Ice Age Trail Alliance Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter Meeting at the Trekker Lodge in Lapham Peak State Park in Delafield.
Following the chapter meeting, stay for a featured presentation, Bats of Wisconsin, with Helen Holtz of the Waukesha County Land Conservancy. Discover the bats found throughout Wisconsin, their remarkable adaptations, and the important roles they play in local ecosystems. Following the presentation, bat acoustic monitoring equipment will be brought outside to see which bat species were active during the evening and what species may be flying around Lapham Peak.
Ice Age Trail Waukesha/ Milwaukee County Chapter Meetings are open to the public, and membership is not required to attend. A Wisconsin State Park sticker or day pass is required for entry.
