Get immersed in the soulful and soothing vibrations of the virtual cello orchestra, created by the world-acclaimed cellist, composer, and multilingual vocalist Ian Maksin, who sings in more than 30 languages.

In this concert he will perform music from his most recent releases "Amor Renatus", "Alchemist" and "Sempre". He will also share the most recent additions to his musical collection: folk songs in Catalan (language #32), Kazakh (#33), Korean (#34), Kyrgyz (#35) and the Crimean Tatar Language (#36) as well as his versions of the classics "Sabor a Mi", "Aranjuez", "Je suis malade", plus his favorite songs in Ukrainian, Arabic, Georgian, Farsi, Turkish and more!

Maksin magically connects some of the most diverse elements of world music into a unique fusion, using his cello as the unifying force. Using loop pedal and other electronics, he augments the sound of his instrument into an entire cello orchestra creating a one-of-a-kind listening experience. Using the cello as a unifying force and singing in French, Italian, Farsi, Turkish, Ukrainian, Polish, Spanish, to name a few, he takes the listener along on a mystical journey around the globe.

IAN MAKSIN a créé son propre style unique en mélangeant d'une nouvelle manière des éléments de différents genres et de la musique traditionnelle du monde entier en utilisant son violoncelle comme principale force unificatrice. Il utilise la pédale de boucle et d'autres appareils électroniques pour augmenter le son du violoncelle et le transformer en orchestre virtuel. Il chante des chansons populaires et traditionnelles du monde entier dans plus de une trentaine de langues et écrit des chansons originales dans au moins quatre. Il a sorti plusieurs albums de musique originale pour violoncelle inspirés de ses voyages à travers le monde et de ses collaborations avec des musiciens folkloriques.

BREAKING BOUNDARIES both musical and geographical, cellist, composer and multilingual vocalist IAN MAKSIN has created his own unique style by blending elements of different genres and traditional music from around the globe in a new way using his cello as the main unifying force.

ONE-MAN ORCHESTRA:In addition to cello, he used an electronic device called the loop pedal, which allows him to create "loops" or layers by recording and replaying his own playing in real time.
