I Scream Social: featuring Cristina Herrera Mezgravis & Francisco Aragón
About this Event
I Scream Social is thrilled to celebrate works in translation with a special lineup spotlighting translators Cristina Herrera Mezgravis and Francisco Aragón, followed by a poets on translation panel moderated by Laura Villareal! Bring questions about works in translation for the panel, and your very own writing for the open mic—a bonus if it’s bilingual or in translation <3
Presented by Host Publications, I Scream Social is a monthly feminist reading series and ice cream party that takes place at Alienated Majesty Books. We aim to celebrate and empower historically marginalized writers and share incredible literature and diverse perspectives to an Austin-area audience. Hosted this month by poets Claire Bowman & Annar Veröld! Free & open to all!
