About this Event
Join us for a special event in collaboration with Bletchley Park and the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire Computing Hub, aimed at inspiring more girls to pursue computing while delving into the captivating history of Bletchley Park and the remarkable contributions of women during World War II.
This engaging day will feature an insightful introduction to Bletchley Park's history in an auditorium talk, an enriching guided tour of the park, and an interactive 1-hour encryption workshop.
The event is designed for girls entering Year 8 or Year 9 who have not yet decided on their GCSE options for September 2025. Each school is invited to bring a maximum of 10 girls accompanied by their teacher(s).
Please note: Teachers will need to book one ticket for each person attending (students and adults). Each group must maintain a ratio of 1 accompanying adult per 10 learners, with 1 adult place allowed for every 5 learners. Carers are exempt from this requirement, but tickets must be booked for all accompanying adults.
We're thrilled to announce that this event is fully funded by the NCCE I Belong programme, which is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and diversity in computing education.
