I Am Woman

Somewhere along the way, women were taught to be quiet. To dim our light.

We learned to let others lead while we shrank into the background. To silence our truth in fear of being “too much,” too loud, too emotional, too bold, too intelligent.

We learned to tiptoe around our truth. To shape-shift so we could fit in. To stay small so we could feel safe.

And in doing so… we lost pieces of ourselves. We forgot the power of our voice. The wisdom of our bodies. The light of who we really are.

But deep down, that power never left you. It’s still here, waiting for you to remember.

You know you were never meant to shrink, hide, or silence yourself.

You were meant to be seen, to be heard, and to feel fully alive.

I Am Woman is a women’s dance empowerment journey(no dance experience required) that is an invitation to remember…

To peel away the layers of silence and self-judgment.

To awaken the part of you that is unapologetic.. free.. empowered.. WOMAN.

💫What to expect..

We will begin in circle, setting intentions in sisterhood. Then, guided by music and my voice, you’ll journey inward through movement. We’ll close together in community with grounding, integrating, and celebrating the woman you are.

🎵 Please do not let the wording of “dance” intimidate you. This is not a choreographed dance. No dance experience is required. Through an intentionally crafted journey, you will move how YOUR body wants to move.. this could look like stretching, swaying, walking, dancing, shaking your booty, or simply being still. This isn’t about “getting it right.” We’ve had enough of trying to “get it right!” It's about listening deeply to yourself. Trusting your body to show you what’s ready to be released and what’s ready to be reclaimed.

What to bring:

☑️ Comfortable clothes that let you move freely (can also be something that makes you feel empowered and sexy but make sure it’s comfortable to move in)

☑️ A yoga mat (if you have one)

☑️ A journal + pen

☑️ Water bottle

When & Where:

📅 Thursday, September 18th | 6:15– 8:30pm (arrive as early as 6:00pm)

📍 Studio 131 Weddings & Events, 11803 104th St, Largo, FL 33773. Please don’t go through the front door. You will see a gate open on the backside of the building. Someone will be there to greet you!
