“I Am That Tree”
An Autumn Yoga & Soul Immersion Amongst the Trees
Rooting in connection, Rising in joy,
Falling in love, Returning home
On Sunday 8 November, we’ll spend four hours exploring the wisdom and identity of trees — and what they might reveal about our own ever-changing identity.
Before we meet, I’ll ask you to choose a tree that you particularly love or feel drawn to. We’ll explore how your tree actually lives — how it grows, adapts, survives, belongs, reaches, sheds and changes — and use its unique characteristics and symbolism as a way of getting curious about your own identity.
Amongst the beautiful nooks and crannies of the Zuiderpark, we’ll combine Soul Strolls, strong questions, reflection and sharing with yoga, breathwork, mantra, restorative practice and guided meditation, alongside my new I Am That Tree mini-workbook.
We’ll explore our own roots, trunk and branches — what matters, what supports us, what we’re ready to let fall away and where we might be growing next.
And somewhere in the middle, we’ll return to my home for homemade soup, warmth and conversation.
