I Am Jane Doe 🖤 Free Awareness Photo Shoot at the Michigan State Capitol

We said "LET'S DO THIS!" and now we're going to the Capitol. 🖤🏛️
Join Krystle Steele (Steele Capture Co.) and Chelsea Buell (Chelsea Buell Photography) for a FREE "I Am Jane Doe" awareness photo shoot on the steps of the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing. Right where Michigan's laws are made.
This fall has been heavy for so many survivors. We want to stand together, calm and strong, and say it out loud: We see you. We believe you. We hear you. 💕
🗓️ Sunday, October 25, 2026
⏰ 10:00 to 11:30 AM (check-in at 9:45)
📍 Michigan State Capitol, 100 N. Capitol Ave, Lansing (outside on the front steps)
🖤 Everyone wears ALL BLACK
🪧 Homemade I AM JANE DOE signs are encouraged, but don't stress! We'll have signs for you too
🎭 Want to stay anonymous? Masks, veils, hoods, and backs-to-camera shots are all welcome. We'll have a few masks there, or bring your own
🎥 We'll be capturing photos AND video, and YOU choose how you appear (or don't). Nothing gets shared without your OK
🙌 Want to come but stay out of the photos and video? Please do! An extra set of hands is always helpful
You don't have to be a survivor. You don't have to share a single word. You just have to show up. We're hoping for 20 to 30 women standing side by side. 💪
It's 100% free, with group photos plus free individual portraits for anyone who wants one.
Click "Going" so we know you're coming!
Inspired by the incredible reel from Lalani Saleste Photography. Thank you for lighting this spark. ✨
