The City of Perrysburg will host an open house Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 5-7 p.m. at the Schaller Memorial Building, 130 W. Indiana Ave., to share information about the proposed I-75 Corridor Land Use Plan update.
Residents and property owners are invited to stop by anytime during the open house to:
- Review display boards showing the proposed Land Use Plan update
- Speak with Planning & Zoning staff
- Ask questions about the proposed changes
- Submit written comments and share feedback
The update focuses on approximately 1,225 acres along the I-75 corridor between Roachton Road and the City's southern boundary. It recommends a new Highway Innovation land use designation to guide potential long-term employment uses, such as advanced manufacturing, research and development, logistics and offices. It also recommends a Conservation Suburban designation for land west of State Route 25 along the southern edge of the planning area.
The proposed update does not rezone or annex any property or approve any development. It serves as planning guidance for future land use decisions. The remainder of the City's 2021 Land Use Plan would remain unchanged.
Following the open house, the proposed update will go before City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. A public hearing will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by a final vote at the 6:30 p.m. City Council meeting.
Residents and property owners are encouraged to attend, review the proposed changes and share their feedback.
