H’oponpono Meditation

Forgiveness can be a powerful gift to those around you and to yourself.

In this meditation we will deep dive into our hearts to connect with a memory, situation, or trauma in our life that still sits heavily within us. We will then try to ease the hurt with the practice of forgiveness, both for ourselves and others.

The most powerful forgiveness practice I've come across is the Hawaiian technique of H'oponpono. H'oponpono is the practice of dropping into your heart and saying I'm Sorry, Forgive Me, Thank You, and I Love You. The key to success in this practice is by staying centered in your heart and truly meaning the phrases above. This can be difficult at times, especially if you're working with a trauma or feeling that was caused by another person. This is okay, and is why meditation and H'oponpono is a practice. The more we allow ourselves to surrender from the mind and feel the words in our heart is when the burdens that lay within are freed.
