We are honored and very excited to have #local artist @hnrfineart debut her solo show here. I met Heather at the Super Fine Art Fair last year and was captivated by how she explored patterns, colors, and texture in each painting.
We are due for a beautiful abstract exhibit and @hnrfineart will definitely put on a show!
There will be a raffle @ 8:30pm which includes a round of chambongs, wine, art from the artist, etc. All money from our raffle will go to our artist!
Below is a bio of our featuring artist and info on their featured work:
San Francisco-based artist Heather Robinson creates colorful paintings that explore pattern and texture. Her work focuses on the interplay of order and spontaneity; she interweaves patterned elements with loose and unplanned marks. Robinson studied environmental design at Texas A&M University and architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which gave her a passion for structure as well as a fascination with how people choose to decorate the spaces around them. She has exhibited widely throughout the United States in California, Washington, New Mexico, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas, and New York. Her work is held in private collections in the US, Belgium, Australia, Italy, and France.
In addition to her creative practice, she's a professionally-trained baker and enjoys traveling, studying foreign languages, and collecting loud vintage neckties.
