Hythe Bay Play Group for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers runs on Thursdays 9:30-11:30 during term-time in the Hythe Bay Out of School Club room.
Casual setting
Drop-ins welcome. Turn up and leave when you like. Each week, we have a familiar set up so the children know what to expect when they arrive. There’s also suitable spaces to relax, sleep, feed and change your baby or child.
Learn through play
Babies and children can explore a variety of toys which promote all areas of development and learning, for all stages from birth to five years. Each session has a baby area, soft-play, sensory activity tray, art and craft table(s), books, sofas, small world toys, role play toys and home corner. Art and sensory activities for a different theme each week, such as seasons, books, and holidays.
Socialise
Meet other families and build a network that suits you. Our qualified early years teacher and trustee are also available for support, advice and sign-posting.
Drinks and snacks
Hot and cold drinks are provided, along with snacks suitable for all, from weaning babies to grandparents. Although the play group is free to attend, there is an optional donations pot at the snack bar.
