Hysteria Collective: Metanoia

ENG:
Metanoia is a manifesto that explores how social expectations shape our bodies and identities. The performance questions these norms and seeks ways of freely inhabiting and celebrating an authentic body and identity.
The body is exposed as a living archive of intimacy, violence, and resistance. The show claims vulnerability as a political force and exposure as an aesthetic weapon.
It rejects normativity, deconstructs and reconstructs masculinity, celebrates identity without asking permission. It offers not catharsis, but an act of insubordination: a jubilant body that defies the norm and produces new meanings. Metanoia questions the way queer identity is constructed and negotiated in the body: between intimacy and public space, between fragility and strength, between silence and protest.
