Join us for an engaging and practical seminar on the art of effective hymn playing in worship. With a touch of humor, we’ll explore common do’s and don’ts of service playing and consider what truly supports confident congregational singing. Dr. Bell will also share several ultra-beginner techniques designed to build security and musicality at the console. Because many organists come to the instrument as pianists pressed into service, this session will include conversation and shared strategies for teaching and strengthening beginning organists.
