Wesley will be hosting a Hymn Festival by Dr. David Cherwien on Thursday, June 6, at 7:30pm. This event is free and all are welcomed to attend. David has titled the Hymn Festival ‘To Everything There is a Season.’ A festival choir will gather, and the congregation plays an important role singing along with several hymns! There will be readings of reflections written by Susan Palo Cherwien, David's late wife, and a corresponding musical selection.
David is one of the nation’s finest liturgical church musicians. He is currently serving as Cantor at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. He also led the National Lutheran Choir from 2002-2023 as their Artistic Director. Come out for this wonderful event!
