Hygienic Music Lounge 2025 showcases a vibrant trio of boundary-breaking bands, each redefining the limits of their unique musical realms.
The evening begins with Xénos, an experimental folk quartet that merges the traditional songs of the Greek island of Crete with the modern sounds of psychedelic rock. Post Traumatic Jazz Disorder follows. They perform a collection of oddly great tunes from an unlikely collection of individuals who share in common the fact that they all suffer from, well, Post Traumatic Jazz Disorder. The Geoff Mitchill Band is based out of the lush and inspiring Connecticut River Valley. The music tips its hat to the past, shines a light on the future, and is performed in the present. Acoustic guitar, fiddle, bass, and drums unite to support the lyrical imagery of adventure moving through various musical modes and genres. The Music Lounge promises an unforgettable evening, celebrating New London’s rich and storied music legacy.
