Hydration Drive for Homeless Houstonians

A community hydration drive to collect water and electrolyte drinks for homeless Houstonians at risk of dehydration and heat-related illness
About this Event

With dangerous heat and record temperatures affecting communities across the country, we are asking Houstonians to help protect some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

On Saturday, July 11, from 12 PM to 6 PM, The Gite Gallery will host a Hydration Drive to collect drinks for people experiencing homelessness who are at high risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion, and other heat-related illnesses.

We are collecting:

• Bottled water
• Gatorade
• Powerade
• Pedialyte
• Coconut water
• Electrolyte drinks

After the drive, donated items will be delivered directly to homeless individuals and local outreach partners serving people in need.

Help us keep people safe, hydrated, and cared for this summer.
