Free Educational Community Turtle Tour 2025 Walk & Talk exploring Hyde Park, North Perth WA 🐢💚🐢 This truly unique Walk & Talk will take you back to the original turtles that inspired your favourite bushman or your local Turtleman! I will be sharing the power of photography to create snapshots in time and how it can be used to benefit the citizen science project like TurtleSAT and the 1 Million Turtles project. From humble beginning of using a stick with a GroPro attached by fishing-line to my new custom rig that is rated for a small bull shark bite and gives me a distance of 3 meters between me and the turtles I document! 🐢🐢📸👀
Let me introduce you to the original romeo and juliet of the turtle world; Big Bertha and Big Richard! If you managed to catch my post earlier this year you would of read about the relationship I built with documenting Bertha and Richard and why they hold such a special place in my heart! 💚🐢💚
I will be setting up a table with my educational posters along with ones promoting 1 Million Turtles and TurtleSAT and also at my little table I will have available for the kids and big kids (of course) to get hands on with some preserved specimens 🐢💚🐢
