Learn Marithe’s proven protocols for full-arch prototype design & digital verification in Exocad, followed by a hands-on anaxgum practice.
About this Event

About This Course:

A successful digital hybrid workflow requires an effective, repeatable protocol for digital design and verification, and confidence in your ability to create a prototype with natural-looking esthetics. This course will have you ready to do all of that!

Course Instructor, Marithe Baclagon, will demonstrate her process in Exocad to properly align all the relevant files for a hybrid case, then desing the hybrid and verify function and occlusion using Exocad's digital articulator tool. Then, she'll demonstrate her post-processing procedures for printed hybrids and lead participants in a step-by-step esthetic finishing process using anaxgum composites. Each participant will take how their own printed prototype finished with anaxgum.

Course Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Course Pre-requisites:
  • A basic understanding of Exocad DentalCAD software is necessary to be able to apply what you will learn during Marithe’s live design demonstration. However, for the non-designers in attendance, the demo and discussion will still provide valuable insight into common problems that can be solved by a different approach to design or an additional step to validate designs.
  • A basic understanding of dental anatomy and morphology

About The Instructor:

Marithe Baclagon is a ceramist, digital workflow strategist, and unapologetic advocate for keeping craftsmanship alive in a rapidly automated industry. With over 16 years in dental technology, she started in a family-owned lab in Richmond, Virginia, mastering analog techniques before becoming deeply immersed in CAD/CAM and digital full-arch workflows.

She helped establish the first digital dental laboratory at VCU School of Dentistry, training future dentists to integrate technology with real-world clinical outcomes. Marithe has also served as a lab manager and educator at Atlantic Implant Institute, where she trained dentists and technicians in immediate-load design, 3D printing, and full-arch digital protocols.

Now working in the Ozarks of Missouri at Rheostat Dental Lab within Innovative Dental of Springfield, she produces high-volume full-arch restorations while continuing to push the limits of digital manufacturing—scaling production from 125 to over 750 arches annually.

Armed with a Master’s in Instructional Design & Technology and advanced certifications in Millbox CAM, facial scanning, photogrammetry, and MIYO esthetics, Marithe is known for blending precision, efficiency, and artistry—and for reminding audiences that technology should elevate technicians, not replace them.”

How to Get to anaxskool:

After years of traveling to hold courses in labs and education centers nationwide, we made our very own anaxskool education center with a mission to create effective, dynamic, memorable educational programs for dental professionals in the USA.

We founded anaxskool in our quirky, small hometown in southern Oklahoma: .

We're about 1.5 hours North of the Dallas / Fort Worth Airport (DFW), and it's an easy drive up I-35. We recommend renting a car to get to and from the airport and to get around town during your stay, since Uber and Lyft don't have a dependable presence here.
