Start Point: Park behind the Ormond Beach Library, tailgate registration in parking lot. No bathrooms at start.

Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 6 km (3.7 miles) or 11 km (6.8 miles) group walks in downtown Ormond Beach, FL. See a Timucuan Indian Burial Mound, the famed Rockefeller "Casements," nearby parks, and (11KM only) a section on the beach. Both walks cross and return across the Granada bridge.

You may walk with the group, 5KM is a one hour walk, 10KM in 2 hours. Or walk at your own pace, just grab a set of directions at registration.
Tailgate Registration is thirty minutes prior to start.
Cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive IVV/AVA credit for this event, stamp your Event & Distance Books!
The walk is rated 1C (mostly flat & moderate), with a significant portion of the 11km on the beach (hard-packed sand.) Or, you can walk along the sidewalks on A1A, parallel to the route. The alternate route is suitable for wheelchairs/strollers.
Behind the Ormond Beach Regional Library – 30 S. BEACH ST., Ormond Beach
I-95 Exit 268 SR40 (Granada Blvd) Go east, crossing US1, to S. Beach St. Turn right onto S. Beach St., and drive one block to Tomoka Ave (just past the library). Turn right onto Tomoka Ave, drive one-half block, and turn right into the parking lot.
