Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned Group Walks: 5KM (3.1 miles) or 10KM (6.2 miles) OR Group Bike Rides 13KM (8.5 miles) / 31KM (19 miles) in beautiful Palm Coast, FL.Please carry your own water.
You may walk with the group or at your own pace - ask for a set of directions/map when you register. John and Sheila will lead bike rides NOTE: Bike Event will depend on weather/temps - will send updates 2-3 days before. (i.e. if it's 45 degrees we won't be riding)
Tailgate Registration starts 30 minutes prior and the cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive AVA/IVV credit for these events.
The walk is rated 1A (flat & easy), it is on sidewalks through the Historic District including residential streets, parks and the downtown shopping / main street area. This walk is suitable for wheelchairs/strollers. Pets are allowed but must be leashed and picked up after.
Wear athletic shoes, pace: 1 mile every 20 minutes.
